I Simply Got Hooked With Boys Before Flowers

I thought I will never again experience waiting impatiently for Mondays and Tuesdays but the korean drama series Boys Before Flowers made me go through the whole waiting thing again while battling it out with my Internet connectivity. The buffering is my weekly enemy.

It was like the Coffee Prince days again and I am truly enjoying the series. I got a lot more to say and perhaps I might be inspired to recap the whole series even though I am four episodes late.

very awful, the corean version…The girl is really ugly, she tries too much, overacting, the man actor is very slow, doesn’t know how to show his emotion, he acts very bad.. and the school oh my god! not very scary, are really there the rich students? i didn’t see anything showing that….why they didn’t chose the girls who acted in coffee prince…that’s the worst version

i totaly agree with cherry,the acting of the main character lacks of many thgs n the girls is simply not suiting the role n the worst thg is that the whole team look really kids,sorry to say that but i ve seen the jap n taiwanese version i ve seen their acting n there is no comparaison that was perfect each episode of them were really exciting n wid great performance, today i ve seen the 19 episode n was shocked with the poor acting of the two other F4 when he was talking abt being the son og a gangster n the other were getiing angry that was the worst acting ever it shows their lacks of expeirience of feeling n their youth! but there s not only negative side i can tell that this version is the best one in terms of production cas we can see the high quality of eacg single thing in the drama the fashion, the food, the cars, house, n beautiful locations,so there s no doubt it s the best production of the 3 versions.
i hope that the director could make a change n make them improve their looks n acting skills!

sofia and cherry, i think you gotta go and get a bigger and heavier specs…This show is damn amazing especially kim hyun joong(jihoo),lee min ho(junpyo) and kim bum(yi jung)…they are all so cute.and its not for her to be blamed as her character is like that…they have to find someone young n has the characteristic as the main actress(jandi).Its a very awesome show.If they had to find the coffee prince girl…a ll i could say is that it wouldn’t be bad…but we have to give each other a chance of a lifetime to act.don’t you think so?the coffee prince actress has acted quite a lot of dramas…as for the taiwanese and japanese version…lets don’t even talk about japanese versions.through my experience,all i can say that japanese actors and actresses suck.their acting and looks are terrible(sorry, to say this to all japanse version fans!)while the taiwanese is ok only larh.But i prefer korean version.Its the best of the best.Love ya hyun joong!(jihoo)Boys before Flowers Korean version rocks!XD

@ Cherry and Sofia. You don’t know a thing about acting. Damn you guys! How the heck can you say Lee Min Ho is not good at acting? Well, he is known for being an amazing actor in Korea. He can portray differnt kind of roles. You’re just saying that TAI’s meteor garden was a whole lot, wayyyy better than Korea’s bbf because we were new to other countries dramas that time.
Now, looking back at it, i pretty well think that METEOR GARDEN is a whooole corny cheesy kind of drama compared to what BOYS OVER FLOWERS is. And Duh! even the OST of MG is nothing compared to BOF. Open your eyes guys, Korean F4 is way better. Start it off with the looks!

For Me, from three version that i’ve been watched (Japan, Taiwan, Korea), Japanese version is the worsth!!!

Yes, i’m agree with bbf addict. The Japanese actor we’re to much make up and i dont got the fill when i watched.
For me now, Boys Before FLower is really touching movie and i Love it.
But, enoughhh! I’m not hope for a sequel. I believe this drama will be bored like MG2. Coz from my experiense, the sequel just make me sick!

The Korean version sucks, sweeties.

1. Horrible acting.

2. Total lack of picking the correct cast.
Do they even look one bit like what the character represents?
I don’t see it with BBF. Sorry.

Do you guys think just because it’s “new” it’s better? Just because it has guys you think are “attractive” it’s better? Whoa ho ho ho, but let me break it to you, that’s not how it works. Meteor Garden had such an impact that everyone else started making a series out of it. Yes, this includes your precious “BBF”. And people saying “Oh, I like BBF because it’s a KOREAN drama.” is…

Dude, who cares? I don’t care if it’s a Korean drama. I’m not looking at that. I’m looking at the acting. The selection of the cast. Does the character make it believable? Do I react in an intense scene? Your BBF does not do that while Meteor Garden and Hana Yori Dango does. BBF didn’t even make much of a change to the title. It’s like they were trying to make it better than the two other version, they tried to make it so precise, that it looks fake.

You can rant. You can cry but it was Meteor Garden’s actors that had an impact on the rest of us. Look at it. It’s been 8 years since Meteor Garden and it still aires. It’s not a bad drama nor is Hana Yori Dango. The fact that people point out how much more “beautiful” the Korean chick is to the other main chicks is stupid. The main chick is suppose to be an average chick. I don’t think average chick win swimming scholarships. The whole point was to keep it a bit more in a believable level. That was one of the writer’s goals. That people could relate to it. And one of the things is that one of the bullies kills herself. In real life the bullies don’t kill themselves, it’s the victim. My reaction was: WAH, ALERT. FAKE.

Watch all the version before you go on judging. No, this does not include you typing: “Hey, I watched them all. It sucks. Korean version better.” when you just type for the heck of trying to prove that BBF is better or just using your wiki skills to skim through the other versions.
